You can have them in 2-stage and 3-stage versions and they can deliver push of up to 6,000 N and pull of up to 4,000 N. Their performance is unaffected by heavy off-centre loads and they work equally well upside down. LINAK® lifting columns have at least an IPX4 rating, making them able to withstand splashing water. However, there are also versions that are resistant to water jets, thus meeting protection class IPX6.
This is why the LINAK LC lifting column series is used in a wealth of different healthcare applications – from basic elevation of chairs and tables to advanced medical equipment, such as operating tables and X-ray equipment. The lifting column LC3 in particular fits the bill for a wide range of more advanced applications – C-arm, treatment chairs, dental chairs, or equipment in mammography or ophthalmology.
It is not hard to explain why this particular series has gained such widespread success. In addition to the durability and all the functional assets, LC columns are easy to mount, have multiple cable management options, low built-in dimensions, and they are easy to integrate with OpenBus™ systems.
